Abstract
The article examines the modeling method, which examines objects of knowledge by means of their models. Modeling is a complex cognitive process, method and tool that finds application in all scientific fields. Modeling is a leading method for the formation and development of mathematical concepts in children in kindergarten. Abstract mathematical concepts are learned by adolescents using models. Material and graphic modeling are optimal for preschool children.
