Abstract
<\/strong>The problem of gender identity of adolescents is interested not only in Azerbaijan, but throughout the world. This problem requires in-depth and detailed scientific research to better understand its characteristics and impact on children and adolescents.<\/p>

The purpose of this article is to explore certain aspects, especially the role of the family, in the formation of a child’s gender identity. We aim to analyze the scientific definition of the term gender identity as proposed by various scholars in the field. In addition, we want to explore the influence of families on the process of gender identity formation in children and adolescents. We will also consider the modern points of view of researchers on this topic in order to get a more complete understanding of the problem of gender identity of children and adolescents and its relevance in our time.<\/p>
