Abstract
<\/strong>To study the state of the insurance sector of the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan as the most important component of the financial market and innovations in the field of medical insurance, ensuring the development of the economy, and to develop new directions of development, focused respectively on creating conditions for strengthening the stability of the financial market and protecting the population; analysis of the new system of compulsory medical insurance. Methodology. The work is the result of research conducted by the author in the period from 2013 to 2015. in analytical materials of statistical and financial statements from Kazakhstani and foreign sources. The work includes classical methods such as financial analysis (DCF analysis, comparative and factorial methods).<\/p>

Self \/ value. The article presents and analyzes in practice the trends in the development of the insurance segment of the economy of Kazakhstan for a number of years on the example of insurance companies. The role and place of the insurance market in the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan is studied, the role of the insurance market and the coordinating role of the created health insurance fund are evaluated.<\/p>
