Abstract
<\/strong>Recent COVID-19 pandemic has led to worldwide increase in cases of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome. Pregnancy is associated with physiological respiratory, cardiovascular and immunological changes, which could lead to development of severe viral pulmonary complications. That cause higher rate of maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality.
Application of non \u2013invasive ventilation strategies for treatment of mild to moderate cases of hypoxic Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome in pregnant women may improve their condition and decrease cases of endotracheal intubation and invasive mechanical ventilation. More investigations for the most successful method of non-invasive mechanical ventilation in pregnant women are necessary.<\/p>
