Abstract
The optimization of query understanding within search engines is a critical endeavor that marries the complexities of Natural Language Processing (NLP) with advanced mathematical models. Central to enhancing search engine performance, this exploration covers the roles of syntactic analysis, part-of-speech tagging, and named entity recognition in dissecting and interpreting the structure of user queries. It further delves into the mathematical theories underlying these NLP techniques, spotlighting the use of probabilistic models such as Hidden Markov Models (HMMs) and Conditional Random Fields (CRFs), alongside the emergence of neural network-based approaches. Through a nuanced examination of these methodologies, the discussion underscores how mathematical approaches to NLP significantly bolster the accuracy and relevance of search engine responses, paving the way for a more intuitive and efficient retrieval of information in the digital age.

Abstract
In this paper, the authors briefly present the methods for determining in situ the efficiency / performance of a hydraulic turbine as well as the purpose, the necessity of applying the methods of in situ determination of the efficiency of the hydraulic turbines from a hydropower plant. These efficiency tests are an essential practice to ensure that the performance of the hydraulic turbine and the hydropower plant have not degraded to unacceptable levels. Also in the paper are presented the results of the efficiency tests carried out at a cascade of three hydropower plants, form Romania, from the arrangement of the Râul Mare downstream.

Abstract
In the contemporary industry of machine manufacture, the analysis of the interplay between machine elements that are susceptible to friction is of paramount importance. The magnitude and qualities of this friction have a direct impact on the efficiency of mechanisms, their longevity, and their dependability. However, friction is not solely a resistive force to be surmounted, but it also has latent potential to engender heat, oscillation, and attrition. Coulomb’s law, which governs the ratio of friction force to normal force, is the central point of investigation for academics. Precise determination of the friction coefficient, as well as comprehension of the dynamics of this phenomenon, can profoundly enhance the performance and longevity of mechanisms. This is especially true in the context of incessant growth and integration of automatic systems, where even a minor shift in frictional characteristics can have momentous implications on the operations of all machinery.
As per the esteemed Journal of Friction and Wear (2019), a conspicuous surge in the longevity of machines, up to 15-20%, can be attained via rectifying the geometric parameters of kinematic pairs. However, notwithstanding the multitude of publications on this matter, the issue of the numerical correlation between said geometry and the level of wear remains unresolved. The State Institute of Mechanical Engineering (2020) has reported that a staggering 60% of equipment malfunctions are attributable to the imprudent selection of geometric parameters.

Abstract
This article explores the delicate balance between engineering considerations and operational preferences in power system projects, specifically focusing on the decision-making process regarding the use of soft starters versus transformer upgrades. The conventional reliance on soft starters is challenged, particularly in greenfield projects, where alternative solutions during the design phase may eliminate the need for soft starters altogether. The study delves into the economic feasibility and advantages of opting for larger transformers as a means to address challenges, such as voltage drops during motor startups. The article employs the Electrical Transient Analysis Program (ETAP) to construct a comprehensive model, considering factors like motor power, transformer load, and the need for soft starters. The study concludes that a higher-capacity transformer can effectively address challenges related to voltage drops and evaluates the cost implications, comparing expenses associated with larger transformers against the installation of soft starters. The article advocates for a nuanced approach in optimizing power system configurations, considering both short-term and long-term implications.

Abstract
Bakery products are among the most common food products, but they are prone to mold, which leads to an unpleasant odor, accumulation of mycotoxins, and spoilage of the product. This article presents the results of research and a comparative analysis of calcium propionate of different brands. The presented results demonstrate the positive effect of using calcium propionate and its salts on the positive dynamics of suppressing the agents of microbiological spoilage of bakery products. It was found that the best effect on the suppression of mold fungi was exerted by calcium propionate of the trademark “PROBAKE” in an amount of 0.2% to the mass of flour.

Abstract
The article deals with the method of automated semantic segmentation of ultrasound medical images using the Attention U-Net deep learning model. The advantages of using Attention blocks in neural network architectures for segmentation tasks are analyzed. To test the described algorithms, the Breast Ultrasound Images training dataset was chosen. The method described in the article allows for automating the process of detecting and preliminary classification of breast tumors based on the analysis of ultrasound images. As a result of training the Attention U-Net model, the Mean IOU value of 49.2% was obtained on the test set. The network can automatically classify the detected neoplasm as benign or malignant with an F1 Score of 0.87. The results indicate the prospects of using the Attention U-Net model in the tasks of analyzing ultrasound medical images. Ways to further improve the considered method are proposed.

Abstract
When corona wires, partial discharges and corona of insulators and fittings, sparking in the contacts of linear fittings, radio interference occurs. The harmful effects of a person’s stay in a strong electric field depend on the field strength E and on the duration of its exposure. Electromagnetic compatibility of technical means (EMC) is the ability of a technical means to function with a given quality in a given electromagnetic environment and not create unacceptable electromagnetic interference to other technical means. Corona discharge on power lines interferes with radio and television reception, as well as acoustic noise. Currently, there is no software for assessing the electromagnetic compatibility of overhead lines. Mathematical modeling of the influence of corona wires of overhead lines, electromagnetic interference, corona discharge, radio interference in wires is considered. Radio interference on overhead lines can occur both due to corona on wires, and due to partial discharges and corona on insulators, breakdown or overlap of defective insulators, corona on linear fittings and spacers of split-phase wires, as well as due to sparking in poor contacts of linear fittings, spacers wires and between insulators. The EMC software was developed to assess the environmental impact of high voltage AC transmission lines. On the example of a 500 kV overhead line results of simulation are represented.

Abstract
The article discusses the issue of antiwear properties of traditional and alternative diesel fuels. The main goal of this work was the theoretical and experimental studies on the effect of alternative biodiesel fuels (on a plant basis) on the change in the antiwear properties of traditional diesel fuels. Also, the goal was to study the effect of the magnetic field on the antiwear properties of diesel and alternative diesel fuels. Experimental studies have been conducted for the antiwear properties of traditional and alternative diesel fuels based on biocomponents obtained from rye oil.
