Abstract
Intonation plays a large role in understanding the meaning of utterance. Changing intonation can completely change the meaning of a sentence. We cannot say in advance what the intonation will be, because it arises in the text, not in the sentence. Each voiced sentence (statement) is associated with a specific consignment corresponding to its intonem.
