MOTIVATION FOR ACTIVE LONGEVITY AND INCREASED QUALITY OF LIFE FOR ELDERLY PEOPLE

Abstract
In the article, the author tries to substantiate the motivation of active longevity of elderly people as a necessary condition for maintaining health and improving the quality of life. The steady growth of elderly people and an increase in the life expectancy of the population leads to the need for pension reform in Russia and employment of the elderly. Socio-political and economic problems in Russia and the legislative dependence of older people motivate them to maintain an active lifestyle and support physical health. The article provides a comparative analysis of concepts, approaches and concepts related to the problems of aging and the preservation of the activity of older people in foreign and domestic literature. The necessity of conducting research to develop scientific and theoretical approaches to motivate older people to maintain active longevity is substantiated.
